Interested in teaching history, political science, geography, economics or the other social sciences at the high school level? Major in Social Science Education and earn your Missouri teaching certification.

The Social Science Education program is a Bachelor’s of Science in Education degree that is designed to position students to earn certification in five disciplinary areas:

History
Government
Geography
Economics
Behavioral Science

This comprehensive program combines content area studies with the practical and theoretical training in pedagogy provided by the School of Education.
